1: The Death of Pauline Laurie Green (nee Glass) - Tristan (People) - 25.02.2010
It is with sad news to announce the death of Pauline Green on 4th February 2010. Pauline was 77 years old and died after being taken ill a few weeks ago.

2: The Sailing Yacht Concordia (Tall ship) due to call at Tristan da Cunha in March sinks off Brazil. - Tristan (Tourism/Travel) - 25.02.2010
Onboard the Concordia were 48 students and the 16 professional crew and teachers.

3: Research Scientists visit Tristan from Sweden - Tristan (Environment) - 16.02.2010
On the 1st February the 21m long ketch yacht Ocean Tramp arrived from the Falkland Islands with a team of Scientists to carry out scientific work at Nightingale Island.
