- The M.V. Edinburgh arrived at Tristan on the 26th October with cargo, and passengers.
- 2: Yacht loses mast at Tristan. - Tristan (Tourism/Travel) - 17.10.2007
- On Sunday the 15th October at midday the yacht CHA-LEE called it at Tristan, on its way to Cape Town South Africa. There wanted diesel fuel, although the weather was deteriorating so the crew (of three South Africans) decided to move to the lee of the island for shelter, as they knew a blow was coming through by the weather forecast. Which the islanders can now obtain from the Internet.

 - The following young people were confirmed at St Mary's Anglican Church on Sunday 30th September. Danny Swain, Michelle Green, Stephanie Glass , Dean Repetto, Julian Repetto, Patrick Green, Caryn Green, Riaan Repetto, Lynette Green, Megan Elsmore (the granddaughter of Lay Minister Lars Repetto).

- On the morning of Wednesday 3rd October, the South African environmental protection vessel Sarah Baartman arrived at the Tristan, at approximately the same time as the SA Agulhas from Gough Island.

- More than one hundred communicants attended the service at St Mary’s on Sunday 23rd.September, when Bishop Christopher Gregorowski presided at the Eucharist and admitted four young people to their first Holy Communion: Rhyanna Swain, Jade Repetto, Janice Green and Kaitlyn Hagan.

- 7: Seaman Stabbed on the South African Research ship SA Agulhas in the South Atlantic. - Tristan (Government) - 01.10.2007
- In the early hours of Friday morning 28th September 2007, Tristan radio and the Administrator was informed of an incident by the master of South African research ship the SA Agulhas, which was operating within Tristan da Cunha's EEZ.
