A brief history film about Tristan da Cunha has reached U-Tube. Posted on Thursday, 13 August 2009, it contains exerts from a documentary called “Asthma Island,” which was filmed by BBC Four about two years ago.  The film is a five minute and 30 second compilation of historical graphics from Tristan’s founding to recent BBC Four film.

However, the commentator and the person interviewed were not identified in the film.  Nonetheless, while brief, it represents a limited amount of Tristan life.

The film was posted in response to two music videos by Theador Rako that played the man’s music but had little substance about Tristan.
