The M.V. Edinburgh arrived at Tristan on the 26th October with cargo, and passengers returning from medical treatment in Cape Town and eight bags of mail. Only one trip was made to the vessel for the passengers and their luggage as the harbour conditions were not safe to discharge cargo. The vessel returned to the settlement anchorage on Saturday the 27th to discharge cargo. She has now gone fishing and will depart for Cape Town via Tristan in early December.
