Just when harbour repairs have almost been completed, after damage from the storm in June, heavy seas at Tristan da Cunha on the 9th August have resulted in more damage to their only harbour.  Several dollos (cement structures, to break up the swell) have been washed from the point of the breakwater, into the entrance.  With bad weather expected again in the next few days, it will be a while before the damage can be assessed.

This means that there could be a delay to any further fishing until it has checked out, and reported safe.
