Submitted by Tristan Times (Sarah Glass) 17.12.2008 (Article Archived on 18.02.2009)

The annual school concert was shown on Wednesday the 10th December.

St Mary's School Concert

The annual school concert was shown on Wednesday the 10th December.

The concert “Giant Slayer” was amusing and well accepted by those who attended, there was also a number of songs by various children such as “Were in the army” “Shaking in our shoes”, “Look over the hillsides”, “Goliath Threat”, “We all had enough”, “I know you are here beside me", “Five liddi' stones”, and “Zing ping thud”, ending with the whole school singing “Good old David”.

After the concert had ended the Administrator was asked to give a few words, as it is island custom, where he congratulated the children and all those involved for making the evening special, and wished the community a Merry Christmas.
