The MV Edinburgh arrived in Cape Town today, after successfully unloading her much needed cargo at Tristan.

The MV Edinburgh arrived in Cape Town today, after successfully unloading her much needed cargo at Tristan.  The Administrator Mr. David Morley and his wife Jacki were among the passengers onboard, he is due to return on the SA Agulhas in early September.  The Chief Islander Conrad Glass will be acting Administrator on Tristan during his absence.


 


The Edinburgh's next voyage to Tristan will be for the start of the fishing season, when she is due to depart on the 20th August.  The fishing vessel Kelso which is to act as the factory for Tristan's local boats this season, is schedule to depart Cape Town on the 10th July.


 



The longline fishing vessel Casablanca departed Cape Town for a fishing trip within Tristan's EEZ yesterday the 7th July.
