Tristan Celebrates Old Year's Night
Old Years Night was celebrated in Tristan fashion by all men folk going to the Administrators residency for a drinks reception at 7pm, before continuing for a further drinks reception at the Chief islanders house. Everyone was expecting rain at midnight by the weather fax, so Braai's were lit early, although the weather (rain) held off until the following day.
