VALENTINE'S DAY DINNER THE FIRST FOR TRISTAN!

On the 14th February 2007  'Atlantic Fresh'  Tristan's  recently invented catering company put together an evening to celebrated St Valentine's Day in the Prince Philip Hall with a special menu, decorations, lighting and music to create a restaurant atmosphere.

Approximate 50 diners were present, as there were limited space with others ordering take-away meals.   Starters consisted of Lobster Salad Hearts or Pea Soup, followed by a main course of Sweet Beef and Peanut Curry, Moroccan Lamb, and Sweet and Sour Fish (White and Yellow rice, Roast Potatoes, Fresh Salad and Steamed Carrots and Peas were also available).  This was then followed by Desserts of Iced Peach Terrine, Lemon Meringue Pie, or Chocolate Hearts and Drinks from Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks, Coffee, Tea and Irish Coffee.

It's not easy to run a business with a population of only 271 persons, and everyone so self-sufficient, but the team are making it a success, and with a changing more westernising culture I see the popularity continue to grow.

Well Done & Good Luck!
