Tristan : Tristan's Community Phone is Fixed

Since 30 June the Community Satellite Phone of Tristan da Cunha has been out of action. Now it is fixed.

TRISTAN’S COMMUNITY PHONE IS FIXED

The satellite phone used by the Community on Tristan da Cunha is now working.  According to the Superintendent of Posts and Telecommunications, Mr. Ian Lavarello, the phone went down on Thursday, 30 June and couldn’t be repaired until spare parts arrived late last month.
