EUROPA VISITS TRISTAN

By J. Brock (SARTMA-TdC)

The EUROPA in the Southern Ocean

Tourists who were aboard the sailing ship, EUROPA have been writing Tristan Times about the excellent time they had while at Tristan da Cunha over the week of 03 and 04 April 2005.  Guides were already on Nightingale while working on the island's hurricane damage, and they gave visitors a tour of the shack area and the Rockhopper Penguin rookery near them as well as where the Yellow Nosed Albatross nest.

While on Tristan the tourists visited the patches, the museum and the craft shop as well as meeting people and trying to make arrangements to come back later.

Everyone left Tristan with very fond memories after an excellent time ashore.
