Joshua Green was taken ill and comitted to hospital, where he spent a week before passing away on Thursday 3rd Dec 2009. Joshua born on the 11th Dec 1926 was

Joshua Green was taken ill and comitted to hospital, where he spent a week before passing away on Thursday 3^rd Dec 2009.  Joshua born on the 11^th Dec 1926 was a twin, although his brother died two weeks later on the 26^th Dec 1926. 

Joshua was 82 years old and worked in the Islands Supermarket for most of his life, he lived with his sister Lydia and they were very supportive to one another, working in the potatoes patches, going camping and fishing etc.

He was buried on Friday the 4^th December, and although the cargo vessel Baltic Trader was here with passengers and cargo, all worked stopped until after the funeral, as is the Tristan custom.

Our deepest sympathies are extended to his surviving sister, family and friends, he will be sadly missed.
