Tristan : Tristan's New Citizen Arrives as M/V Edinburgh Departs

The MV Edinburgh finally departed Tristan on Wednesday 21st May, with Passengers and five bags of GPO Mail. Due to bad weather conditions here on Tristan, we were unable to get all our cargo ashore from MV Edinburgh, so most of it has gone back to Cape Town.

Calvin Patrick Charles

 

New Citizen

 

On the 20th May 2008 at 6.30pm Desmond Green and Donna Rogers became the proud parents of Calvin Patrick Charles. Dr Noe Zamel was here on the island and assisted Dr Carel, with Calvin’s delivery.  Calvin weighed 3.3kgs and both mother and baby are doing well.
