Executive Council met this afternoon with only one item on the Open Agenda.

EXCO REPORT - TUESDAY 27 MARCH 2018 Executive Council met this afternoon with only one item on the Open Agenda. Council considered and agreed to advise the Governor to authorise a draft Withdrawal Warrant to reduce directorate appropriated budgets. Council had previously agreed to this course of action pending the decision of DFID in respect of ring fenced budgets i.e. budgets that had been allocated to a particular type of expenditure only. Following the decision of DFID to release the ring fenced budgets, this could now be enacted. This is a means of balancing the budget at year end. The meeting closed at 2pm. ExCo 27 March 2018
